Power Pigs vs. Seacoast ("Friendly Match," May 20, 2009)

The Pigs went down in a mid-week "friendly" match. The boys fought hard all day long, but gave up 19 first half points. Despite a Pat MacVane try and Ian Bussiere-Nichols conversion, they trailed 19-7 at the break. In the second half Portland forced most of the play and gave up only one converted try. MacVane scored again on the last play of the match to bring the final to 26-12. All players are to be congratulated on playing an excellent game.
