Take ME Turnpike north or south to Portland.
Take
EXIT 44 to I-295.
Take EXIT 6A to FOREST AVE / US-1 S / ME-100 S / BLUE STAR MEMORIAL HWY.
(You will see the Stadium on the right just before EXIT 6A above)
Keep bearing right through DEERING OAKS PARK.
Turn RIGHT at a traffic light onto PARK AVE.
Go to the second traffic light and turn RIGHT onto DEERING AVE.
King Middle School should be on your left.
Just past the Middle School turn LEFT into the parking lot of the stadium.

Take I-95 exit 48.
Turn left after the tollbooth onto Riverside Street.
At the end of Riverside Street, take a left onto Brighton Avenue (Rt. 25) and follow for about 1.7 miles.
Turn left onto Stevens Avenue (Rt. 9). Deering High School is about ½ mile down on the left.
Turn left on Ludlow Street. Memorial Field is about 1/4 mile on the right hand side.

Directions to Fox Field:

Take ME Turnpike north or south to Portland.
Take
EXIT 44 to I-295.
Take EXIT 7 to FRANKLIN ARTERIAL.
Go straight through the light and get in the left lane.
Turn LEFT at traffic light onto FOX ST.
Fox Field is a block down FOX ST on the right hand side.
Park along the street.

Home Pitch:
Sanderson's Field,
33 Hobbs Road, N. Hampton, NH

From Portland:

Take I-95 S from Portland.
Take EXIT 3B and turn LEFT at the light onto Route 33 WEST.
Go about 0.9 miles to the 2nd traffic light and turn LEFT onto Ocean Road (there is a big truck stop at this corner).
Got straight for about 1.9 miles, and turn RIGHT at the traffic light onto Route 1 SOUTH.
Go about 3.5 miles and look for Callahan Motors on the right.
About 500 yards past Callahan Motors turn RIGHT onto Hobbs Road
(NOTE: Do not make a U-Turn into Elm Road. If you come to the traffic light at the junction of Route 111 then you have gone about 3/8 mile too far).
Go about 1/2 mile on Hobbs Road, past New Road.
The field is on the RIGHT behind a row of trees.

PARKING:
There are limited parking spaces at the field.
Most people should continue past the field for about 150 yards to a large building and church on the right. Park in the church parking lot well behind the church.
(If the church parking lot is full, you could park at the shopping center on Route 1 and shuttle to the field)

Mind the No Parking Signs.

DO NOT:
  • Park in the front of the church.
  • Park across the street from the church.
  • Park within 50-feet of the intersection.
  • Park within 20-feet of anyone's mail box or driveway.

CUMBERLAND FAIRGROUNDS


Directions from Portland to Cumberland Fairgrounds:

Follow Auburn St. past Northgate Shaws. This is also RT-26 / 100 NORTH.
Go 6.7 miles and watch for J. Brothers Variety Store on left. Directly across from
the store is Range Road, and there is a sign that points to "Cumberland Fair."
Turn Right on RANGE ROAD and go 0.5 miles.
Turn Left on BRUCE HILL ROAD and go 0.8 miles.
You will see the entrance to the Cumberland Farmers Club on your left.
Take that Left at the Cumberland Farmers Club. Follow the road all the way to the end.
Our practice field is on the right.

NOTE: PLEASE DRIVE SLOWLY INSIDE THE FAIRGROUNDS AS THEY ARE ALWAYS
EXERCISING THEIR HORSES.


Directions for Visiting Rugby Teams to Portland Youth Rugby Game
Field at the Cumberland Fairgrounds:

Take the Maine Turnpike North from New Hampshire.
Take EXIT 53 (formerly Exit 10) and turn Left on RT-26 / 100 N.
Go approximately 4.5 miles northwest on RT
-26 / 100 N.
Watch for J. Brothers Variety Store on left. Directly across from
the store is Range Road, and there is a sign that points to "Cumberland Fair."
Turn Right on RANGE ROAD and go 0.5 miles.
Turn Left on BRUCE HILL ROAD and go 0.8 miles.
You will see the entrance to the Cumberland Farmers Club on your left.
Take that Left at the Cumberland Farmers Club. Follow the road all the way to the end.
The parking lot and our game field is on the right.

From Exit 48 Westbrook (formerly exit 8) of the Maine Turnpike:

Head West on Route 25 through Westbrook into the center of Gorham. Continue on Route 25 West for 200 yards, turn left onto Route 202 West. Approximately 1 1/2 miles on the right, just after Moody Soccer Fields, turn into the entrance to Gorham Sports Center. There is a sign visible from Route 202 heading west.

From the south:

Head north on the Maine Turnpike to Exit 36 Saco (formerly exit 5). After the tollbooth, turn right on the first off-ramp toward Saco and Route 112. Turn left on Industrial Park Drive. At Route 112, turn right. Continue on Route 112 until Route 202. Turn right onto Route 202 toward Gorham. Once you have passed the Gorham town line, look for a sign on your left for Gorham Sports Center , (approx. 1 ½ from town line).

From I-295 take EXIT 5A, Congress St. East.
Follow Congress St. to 1st light and turn LEFT onto St. John Street.
Turn LEFT onto Congress St. West (at the light just past McDonalds).
Just beyond the underpass turn RIGHT onto Douglass St.
Doherty Field is on the right, just before the Kiwanis Swimming Pool.
